Welcome to Campus Services
Campus Services is among one of the University of Glamorgan’s largest support departments consisting of 5 divisions and employing over 200 full and part time staff.
The divisions are:-
- Accommodation Services
- Catering & Hospitality Services
- Centre for Sport, Health & Exercise
- Childcare Services
- Glamorgan Conference Services
In addition to this, Campus Services leads the First Experience Project with cross departmental involvement, which ensures the smooth transistion of 1st year students into University life. We also work closely with the local community groups to help minimise the impact of students living in and around Pontypridd, Treforest and Cardiff.
If you are a student, member of staff or visitor you are almost certainly at sometime going to be using at least one of our services. Our aim is to offer a friendly, professional service with a focus on enhancing your overall experience whilst at the University.
As a customer facing department we welcome feedback and always strive to improve our services, efficiency and facilities. In the past 5 years we have invested over £ 30m to improve our facilties and services.
We recognise our success is through the highly motivated friendly teams we have in each division and we will continue to invest in them through on-going training and development.
Campus Services Structure
The Director of Campus Services, Rob Matthews, leads a team which comprises of the Deputy Director, the Heads of the 5 divisions and the Finance/Resource Manager as listed below:
